Chris Whitehead - VP of Sales
I am a highly driven individual, motivated by being a provider to my incredible fiancée, Aimée, and my three (soon to be four) boys Charlie, Albert, and René. I’m lucky to call Devon home, and when I’m not working tirelessly for the company, you’ll find me on the beach with my family, staring into the sea, recharging for the next challenge.
The majority of my working life was spent in professional sports, specifically rugby, which has shaped the way I approach leadership, sales, and life in general.
Roles
Leader of Sales and Marketing Team
Member of the Core Team
Personal values
Loyalty – I am fiercely loyal to my family, my commitments, and the people I choose to surround myself with. Trust and dependability really matter to me—I stand by those who stand by me.
Integrity – I believe in doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. Transparency, honesty, and staying true to my word are non-negotiables. I expect the same from those around me.
Relentless Drive – I don’t do things half-heartedly. Whether in work or life, I push myself to keep improving, never settling for “good enough.” If something matters to me, I give it everything.
Team values
Discipline & Work Ethic – Success isn’t accidental. Consistency, preparation, and execution separate the good from the great. I thrive in an environment where hard work is the baseline, not the exception.
Resilience Under Pressure – I don’t dwell on losses—we learn, adjust, and go again.
Team First Mentality – No one wins alone. Success comes from alignment, trust, and a shared commitment to winning together. I believe in empowering those around me to perform at their best.
Communication & Leadership - I believe in straight-talking, no fluff, and holding myself and my team accountable.
Everything I do is shaped by these values—whether leading a team, closing a deal, or driving a company forward.
Achilles heels
Impatience – When something needs to happen, I want it done now. I move fast, and I expect the same urgency from those around me. This can sometimes be frustrating for others, but it comes from a place of high standards and a desire to push things forward.
Directness – I say things as they are, which some might find blunt. I care deeply about people, but I don’t sugarcoat things. I believe in honest conversations, and I respect those who can handle straight feedback.
High Expectations – I demand a lot from myself and those around me. I struggle with mediocrity and get frustrated when people don’t push themselves to their potential. While this can drive success, I recognise that not everyone operates at the same pace or intensity.
How to get the best out of me
Be direct – I don’t have time for fluff or ambiguity. Say what you mean, get to the point, and don’t be afraid to challenge me. I respect honesty and clear thinking.
Take ownership – I admire people who take initiative, solve problems, and don’t wait for permission to get things done. If you say you’ll do something, follow through.
Move with urgency – I work at a fast pace, and I expect those around me to keep up. I don’t like waiting around for decisions that could have been made yesterday.
Push back and challenge me – I love a good debate and respect those who hold their ground. If you disagree with me, say so, but come with reasoning and conviction.
Focus on solutions, not problems – I don’t want to hear endless complaints. If something isn’t working, come to me with a plan for how to fix it. I’m all about action.
