Hi, I'm Christine I’ve spent my whole career in design, and I genuinely love what I do. I’m naturally curious and fascinated by how people connect with brands and technology - what excites them, what frustrates them, and why it all matters. London is home, and I feel incredibly lucky to live in such a great city!

Be kind! The relationships I have are so important to me - both personal and professional, and I believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone's day. It doesn’t cost anything, but it makes such a difference in creating a space where everyone feels appreciated. To me, kindness isn’t about saying ‘yes’ to everything or avoiding tough conversations - it’s about treating people with respect.
Be excellence! I’ll always aim for excellence in everything I do - "good enough" for me, is a hard pill to swallow. I love working with passionate people, bringing our strengths together to create something amazing. I value feedback because it’s a chance to grow and keep improving. When something doesn’t quite meet the standard I’m aiming for, I can’t help but feel frustrated - I know I've probably tested people's patience looking for ways to make things better, but I just can't help it!
Be trustworthy! Trust is everything, whether it’s in friendships or work. I always try to be open and straightforward, and I’d never do anything to break that trust. And honestly, I expect the same from others - it’s the foundation of any good relationship.
Give me a deadline! If I have too much time, my drive for excellence kicks in, and I can get stuck being creative for longer than I need! But when there’s a clear deadline, I stay focused and can get things done really quickly. To keep myself on track, I set my own deadlines to make sure progress doesn’t get lost chasing perfection. Of course, a little nudge now and then never hurts ;-)
I'm not a fan of the spotlight! Speaking in front of a crowd is definitely not my comfort zone. It’s something I’m working on, but I doubt I’ll ever love it. That said, I don’t shy away from it when I need to - I just make sure to plan so I can feel as confident as possible. Once I’ve built a relationship with people, though, it’s a different story. I suppose I’m naturally a bit shy at first, but when I feel comfortable and know my stuff, I’m actually pretty confident and at ease.
Be ready for questions. I ask a lot of questions - not to be difficult, but because I’m curious and want to understand the bigger picture. As a designer, I need to know the "why" behind decisions - I might challenge assumptions or dig deeper, but it’s all about getting things done well. If you want to get the best out of me, be open to conversations and know that my questions come from a place of collaboration, not doubt.
Give me space to think. I love solving problems collaboratively, but I also need time to process. I work best when I have the space to be curious, creative, connect the dots, and put my thoughts together. I’m not someone who likes to "wing it", especially when it really matters - I like being prepared.
Challenge respectfully. Treat me and others with respect. I don’t respond well to being patronized - nothing breaks trust faster, and it’s not easily rebuilt. That doesn’t mean we always have to agree of course. Challenging ideas and having open, honest discussions can lead to the best outcomes, as long as it’s done with respect.
