  • How to get the best out of me

I've dedicated the last 10+ years to marketing software products. I've typically been focused on two categories of software: Software development enablement via developer tools and consumer software. I believe these two things are key for a strong technological future that transforms lives. I've held various marketing roles, including content, performance marketing, product marketing, and growth marketing. In addition to these, I spent 4 years becoming a programmer and have a good grasp of the software development life cycle. This also means I can communicate more effectively with developer audiences. In my spare time, I read anything I can find, think a lot, spend time in nature, and write in my local library.

Roles

Team Member of the Product team.

Personal Values

  • Clarity: I prefer to be clear about what the vision is and what needs to be done.

  • Curiosity: I like asking questions and learning new things.

  • Experimentation: I'm not a fan of how it should be done or preconceived notions about things. I like trying new ways of doing things and experimenting again - even though they didn't work last month.

  • Process: I love building repeatable processes that scale.

  • Collaboration: I like working with other people from all around the world.

Achilles heels

  • Corporate jargon gets me dizzy and gets me lost in a maze. I prefer clarity and direction instead.

  • I think a lot before I talk and before I do. This means, I'm always kinda sure i'm right and almost always end up being right.

  • I find it highly uncomfortable and irritating when software doesn't work as promised.

How to get the best out of me

  • Communicate clearly and directly. It helps me gain clarity and understand what you're saying or what you want to achieve.

  • Sticking to a path. After experimentation and decision-making, I prefer to stick to paths that have been agreed upon. Diverging into new paths and changing them constantly, stresses me.
